Your first sign-in

1. Open Account menu › My Profile, select Change Password, and turn on Two-step sign-in.
2. Your screens need the Imaging module. If Imaging › Dashboard sends you back to the main dashboard, it is not switched on yet — ask your administrator.

The study catalog comes switched off

1. Imaging › Study Catalog — a starter catalog is there, but every study arrives inactive. Switch on the ones you actually offer and price them; leave the rest alone.
2. Set the preparation instructions per study — fasting, a full bladder, no metal — because that is the text the front desk reads out when the study is booked.
3. Mark which studies use contrast. It is the one flag a patient may need to be asked about first.
4. Ask your administrator to mirror the catalog as billable services, so an order can be charged.

Working the queue

1. Doctors raise orders from a visit; they arrive in Imaging › Orders with the patient, the study, and any clinical notes.
2. Schedule the study, then upload the images against that order — not as a document elsewhere. That is what puts them in the patient’s record and on the doctor’s screen.
3. Group images into series by view or sequence (PA, Lateral, and so on). It is how the doctor pages through them.
4. An upload is accepted straight away, then the thumbnails are prepared in the background. A short Processing… is normal; if one ends in Failed, the file itself is the problem — re-export it and upload again.
5. Mark the study acquired once the images are all in. The doctor is then free to read it.

What is not yours to do

1. You do not write the report. Findings, impression and sign-off belong to the doctor — taking the image and signing the read are deliberately separate jobs.
2. Images carry the clinic and patient details across them. Do not pass a study to anyone outside the clinic yourself; the patient gets it through their own portal link once the doctor has signed it.
