Accountant guide

Prices, revenue, disbursements and the day-end figures.

Your first sign-in

  1. Open Account menu › My Profile, select Change Password, and turn on Two-step sign-in.
  2. Your screens need the Accounting module. If Accounting › Dashboard returns you to the main dashboard, it is not switched on yet — ask your administrator.

Set the prices before the first patient

  1. Accounting › Service Pricing and Accounting › Package Pricing — what each service and bundle costs. A service with no price bills as zero.
  2. Accounting › Inventory Pricing — selling prices for stock items, if the Inventory module is on too.
  3. Price changes can be prepared and reviewed under Accounting › Batch Review rather than edited one by one.

The daily and monthly figures

  • Accounting › Dashboard — the day’s takings; Accounting › Revenue Report for the period view.
  • Accounting › Outstanding Balances — unpaid balances, by patient.
  • Accounting › Disbursements — cash paid out of the drawer, with its reason.
Reading a payment: the stored amount is the tender the cashier was handed, with the change kept beside it. What the clinic actually took is the tender minus the change — the reports do this for you; a hand-written export must too.
